As promised, herewith is the photographic proof of the fact that I finished (survived) this grueling charity event.
You can see by the picture, (from the terrific shape I was in) why they suddenly called out "whale on the beach!", kept trying to push me back in the water, and called the Marine Stranding Center for help.
Like I said, I survived.
...and a lot of money went to the Senior Center too.
